Being part of a family team and pitching in with the smooth running of the household makes for a happy family (most of the time lol) and it is character building.Photographyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06859635446679188039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6027511072264313662.post-33189144484591721092010-08-29T01:21:10.815-04:002010-08-29T01:21:10.815-04:00Interesting post. I agree that kids should contribute, at least in tidying their room, taking plates to sink, setting table...I find that my eldest (aged 11) was and is very tidy... The youngest (aged 6) doesn't and what irks me is that the oldest does her chores for her. And I don't know how to put a stop to it! I guess all people are inner-driven. I don't know about the allowance thingy...have you ever done a post on that? Something I'm not too sure about.Purple Cowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11016727639028322093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6027511072264313662.post-1783805961975879982010-08-29T01:19:29.637-04:002010-08-29T01:19:29.637-04:00Awesome! And of course I give them the easy ones like brushing teeth, washing hands, and then they each have their own major chore. One sweeps and the other puts dishes away. If they don't attempt then no reward. Teaches them valueable lessons about doing their part as a family and I tell them the more they help, the more time I get to spend with themmountains-to-climbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12593442938301498409noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6027511072264313662.post-22821193112898183712010-08-29T00:49:33.541-04:002010-08-29T00:49:33.541-04:00Thanks for following, I'm following back! Thanks for following, I'm following back!Krystalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11697920609270926751noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6027511072264313662.post-58503307400197103362010-08-28T22:18:03.272-04:002010-08-28T22:18:03.272-04:00Thanks for stopping by, following you back now and...Thanks for stopping by, following you back now and can't wait to read more:)Faithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08309861117024438444noreply@blogger.com
